Daniel Kabat founded Wall Street Systems in 1972 with one idea: freight professionals deserve a company that actually supports them. What started as local trucking and warehousing in Mantua, Ohio has grown into a nationwide intermodal operation with eight subsidiary entities.
WS runs non-asset. We work with a proven network of carriers and terminals instead of owning equipment - which keeps rates competitive and capacity flexible. DOT compliance, safety filings, and cargo insurance are handled in-house, so our agents and operators are always covered.
We’re still family-owned. That’s not a marketing line. It means the people you call answer to the same owners who started this company in 1972.

Commitment
The same principles running the company today that ran it in 1972.
No private equity, no outside investors. The Kabat family owns WS. Decisions get made for the long term.
We work with a vetted carrier and terminal network. No owned fleet means lower overhead and more capacity options for agents.
DOT certified, FMCSA compliant. Full liability and cargo insurance on every load. Safety filings handled internally.
WS earns when its agents and operators earn. That alignment has shaped every decision since the company started.
Fifty years of forward motion.

Daniel Kabat opens WS as a local trucking and warehousing operation. No outside backing. A single focus: serve freight professionals better than anyone else.
1980s – 1990s
WS expands into national intermodal and port container drayage. Eight subsidiary entities take shape, covering major ports and rail depots across the country.
2000s – Present
The agent program launches. Owner-operators join the network. Freight professionals start running their own books under WS authority instead of working for someone else.
